Making Surface Map

After getting the horizons, we use them to make it into a surface map. This is to model these refllectors. The surface map created includes the strong reflections which is asscoiated with the horizons. Surface attributes analysis is then later on applied on these surface maps. Steps for making surface is show below:

-
Right click on the seismic horizon 1 in Interpretation folder and select “Settings”.
2. Then go to “Autotracking” tab, and click on “3D track” to complete the horizon in 3D view. Remember to click on “3D track” till the horizon is complete with no holes in them.

3. To make surface map, go to “Stuructual Modelling” tab at the above and click on “Make surface”. Later on fill up the necessary information in the making surface tab to create the surface map.
4. Repeat the same steps for horizon 2. To change colour of surface map, right click on “Seismic horizon 1” map at the Input section on the left and go to “Settings”. Go to the “Colour” tab and we can change the colours we want to.
